a really fun way i made it one time, you need a big coffee can and a tupperware container that'll fit inside. fill the tuperware container with cream and sure, and whatever flavors you want [vanilla, chocolate, etc] cover the container, put it in the coffee container and fill the empty space with ice, put the lid on that. now all you need to do is roll it around of the floor for 20 minutes or so. fun and yummy :)How do you make home made ice cream?
Firstly, do you have an ice cream freezer? they come with a couple of really good recipes.
If you don't have an ice cream freezer, you will need a 9 x 13 x 3 inch deep metal pan.
I like to use:
2 packages instant pudding and pie filling
1 quart cream or half and half
1 carton defrosted cool whip
Mix the pudding according to instructions for pudding, don't mix very long just long enough to blend the powder and the milk, add in the cream and stir in the cool whip.
Pour this in the pan. Place in freezer for 1 hour! Stir til it is blended but the ice crystals are still in it but very smooth. Freeze for another hour. and stir again. This will get harder and harder to do, but you have to keep going back to stir it every hour until it is the texture you want, then freeze again for about 30 minutes and serve or eat.
If you have kids a fun way is with garbage bags. It is really fun and the ice cream really good.
