Thankyou, ten points to best answer! What is the strongest most effective over the counter anti-fungal cream?
Daktarin is both prescribed and sold. Ask chemist's adviceWhat is the strongest most effective over the counter anti-fungal cream?
My husband gets really bad fungal stuff on his feet. It smells aweful (makes me gag) and his feet get red and itchy.
I washed his shoes in bleach water.
I made a ';shoe spray'; with tea tree oil and water.
I made an oil for him to rub on his feet of the following: tea tree oil, coconut oil, olive oil.
Tea tree oil (just real essential oil in a small bottle - nothing fake) is a natural anti-fungal. It is very strong, so if you are going to put it on your skin, you would need to put it in a ';carrier oil'; such as the coconut oil and olive oil mentioned above. Coconut oil is also an anti fungal - so you're getting 2 anti-fungals in this recipe.
My husband uses this on his feet once or twice a day and I haven't noticed the odor come back to his shoes and it's been a month.
Daktacourt is good. Also Fucidin. But agree with other respondents - you must ask a doctor, because some creams can make your condition worse - you need to identify what kind of fungal infection you have first and foremost.
