Who supplies the frozen granite or marble for ice cream parlors?

I am opening an store that, as a part of its service, makes and sells ice cream with add-in or mix-ins, whichever you call it. I understand the stones (granite or marble) are frozen from below by condensers, or freezing mechanisms. Does anyone know where I can find one? Who manufactures them? I have having a hard time finding them and my equipment dealer doesn't seem to know, either. Any help would be great. Thanks.Who supplies the frozen granite or marble for ice cream parlors?

Look under stone/granite/marble.

Usually it is cheaper if you buy direct from the person cutting it.

If you get it from a dealer, who sells it for counter tops, your paying him as well.

sysco foods corporation, they will deliver it anywhere.

If we use salt to melt ice outside, why do we use salt to freeze ice cream when we make it?

In middle school science classes, we learn that water (H2O) is a solvent, and salt is NaCl. When the water dissolves the salt it changes the chemical make-up of the solution wich changes the properties of the solution. Adding salt to water lowers the point at wich it freezes. And out on the street, it essentially does the same thing. the salt lowers the temperature at which the water freezes. So the freezing point is 32 degrees, and it is 28 degrees outside, and I put salt down on my sidewalk, the salt begins to be disolved by the water, which in turns lowers the point that the water containg the salt solution freezes, and melts the water away.

Any way, the salt water solution in icecream making is a bath where the liquid ice cream is set in, the water solution has the ability to be super chilled and causes the ice cream to freeze, wow this ended up being rather wordyIf we use salt to melt ice outside, why do we use salt to freeze ice cream when we make it?
They are two different salts

When you use salt for ice cream you cool the mixture back down to below a melting temperature. Salt will not work well on a sidewalk or road in constant freezing temperatures

The salt used to melt ice on roads and sidewalks has other chemicals in it.

Chemicals used to melt ice:

*Ammonium sulfate (NH4)2SO4 -7掳C (20掳F)

*Calcium chloride CaCl2 -29掳C (-20掳F) Melts ice faster than sodium chloride Attracts moisture, surfaces slippery below -18掳C (0掳F)

*Calcium magnesium acetate (CMA) Calcium carbonate CaCO3, magnesium carbonate MgCO3, and acetic acid CH3COOH -9掳C (15掳F) Safest for concrete %26amp; vegetation Works better to prevent re-icing than as ice remover

*Magnesium chloride MgCl2 -15掳C (5掳F) Melts ice faster than sodium chloride Attracts moisture

*Potassium acetate CH3COOK -9掳C (15掳F) Biodegradable Corrosive

*Potassium chloride KCl -7掳C (20掳F) Fertilizer Damages concrete

*Sodium chloride (rock salt, halite) NaCl -9掳C

(15掳F) Keeps sidewalks dry Corrosive, damages concrete %26amp; vegetation

*Urea NH2CONH2 -7掳C (20掳F) Fertilizer Agricultural grade is corrosiveIf we use salt to melt ice outside, why do we use salt to freeze ice cream when we make it?
The salt used to melt ice is not the same at all. It is made with chemicals to produce the ';melt';.
Same reason. The ice melts, giving a colder temperature.
Different salt - do NOT use rock salt to make ice cream.
That's poison we'd all die.

You know the Mr. Clean magic eraser works on alot of things. I was suprised. It got red kool aid stains off the counter. You might try it.
you can use CLR or anything else that removes rust, like i heard coca cola does the trick, but most likely, try getting industrial strength rust remover or rustolemium
lysol cleaner with bleach
CLR works well. You can buy it at any cleaning supply store.

Does betamethasone cream helps to remove eczema scars?

I've been using that cream for a while. It helps to reduce the redness and it peels the skins off but will it eventually remove the scars?Does betamethasone cream helps to remove eczema scars?
No.. quite the opposite. With continued use of a strong cortisone like betamethasone, it can lead to thinning of the skin and helps to prevent the laydown of healing connective tissue. If the eczema has been controlled, then I'd advise you to stop using the cream.Does betamethasone cream helps to remove eczema scars?
pOweRranGers,

Betamethasone cream - Betamethasone Dipropionate Cream, USP 0.05% (Augmented) contains betamethasone dipropionate, USP, a synthetic adrenocorticosteroid, for dermatologic use in an emollient base. Betamethasone, an analog of prednisolone, has a high degree of corticosteroid activity and a slight degree of mineralocorticoid activity. Betamethasone dipropionate is the 17, 21-dipropionate ester of betamethasone - is a medicine used to treat skin infections. Typical skin infections treated by creams containing this medication include athlete's foot, jock itch, and ringworm. This cream alleviates itching and redness associated with infection. The corticosteroids are a class of compounds comprising steroid hormones secreted by the adrenal cortex and their synthetic analogs. In pharmacologic doses, corticosteroids are used primarily for their anti-inflammatory and/or immunosuppressive effects. There do not appear to be any reports of this medication being used for the removal of scar tissue. No scar can be completely removed. They will always leave behind a trace, but a number of procedures can improve their appearance. These include 鈥?Surgery. Laser surgery %26amp; resurfacing. Steroid injections. Z-Plasty. Skin grafting. There are some home remedies for scars which include - A mixture of sandalwood paste and black gram paste helps reduce the intensity of scars if started early. Rubbing your skin with ice cubes helps to tighten the skin. You can use cucumber and lemon juice on your scars. Vitamin E oil when applied on the scarred skin may do wonders for your skin. To prevent deepening of the scars, apply aloe vera gel, cod liver oil or vitamin E oil. Applying cocoa butter is also a good remedy in helping getting rid of the scars.

  • Is it ok, for Kittens to have white or cream tongues?

My friend's cat just gave birth to 5 kittens, they have begun to walk a little. They are maybe 3 weeks old. They have white/cream tongues, does that mean there is something wrong? Shouldn't they have light pink tongues? Is it ok, for Kittens to have white or cream tongues?
probably milk from the mama on their tongues. Is it ok, for Kittens to have white or cream tongues?
I honestly dont know but my experience working in a lab tells me something isnt right, could the mother be lacking in nutrition? what color are the kittens tho, if they are of light skin and coat color...... ? that one has me confused
maybe the babies have mommy's milk on there tongues. that could account for the creamy tongues.they could also be just lite ,lite pink so lite that they appear cream.
All cats are basically tabbies and will show some ghost markings in solid color cats, especially as a kitten.

Tongues are normally pink (may have some black markings in calicos or torties). But white or cream is not normal. The kittens could be anemic. If the gums are very pale pink or white its anemic.
