3 c. flour
1/2 c. dry milk
1/4 c. sugar
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1 cube butter
1/4 c. oil
1 egg
1/4 c. water
Combine dry ingredients and cut in butter. Blend together oil, egg, and water; add to dry ingredients. Place on a piece of foil, 17 x 11 inches. Roll out to fit foil. Place on cookie sheet.
APPLE FILLING:
5 c. sliced apples
3 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 c. flour
1 c. sugar
Mix together and spread over pastry.
CARAMEL TOPPING:
1/2 lb. caramels
1/4 c. cream or canned milk
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Heat slowly over hot water (double boiler) until caramels are melted and well blended with milk.
CREAM CHEESE TOPPING:
8 oz. cream cheese
1 egg
1/4 c. sugar
Mix until blended. Spread cream cheese and caramel topping in alternate strips 1 1/2 inches wide across the length of the pastry covered with apples. Sprinkle with walnuts. Bake at 325 degrees for 35 minutes.

FROSTING
1 lb. brown sugar
4 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
Mix above ingredients together in mixer and pour into jelly roll pan, sprayed with Pam (cookie sheet with sides). Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Watch so it doesn't burn.
FROSTING:
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 stick melted butter
2 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. powdered sugar
Mix with mixer and spread over cooled cake. We will cut it when you get here.

1/4 c. butter
1 (7 oz.) pkg. flaked coconut
1/2 c. pecans, chopped
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand milk
1 (12 oz.) Cool Whip
1 (12 oz.) jar Kraft caramel ice cream topping
Melt butter in large skillet. Add coconut and pecans. Cook until golden brown, stirring frequently. Cool on paper towel. Combine cream cheese and milk. beat until smooth. Fold in Cool Whip. Layer cream cheese mixture, drizzle with caramel topping. Sprinkle with toasted coconut. Repeat layer ending with toasted coconut. Cover and freeze until firm. Let stand at room temperature before serving.

CARAMEL CUPS
DOUGH:
2 (3 oz.) cream cheese
1 c. butter
2 c. flour
Mix with hands and press into tassie pans (small balls). Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
FILLING:
1 lb. Kraft caramels (light colored)
1/2 c. canned milk
Mix and microwave until soft and creamy (about 2-4 minutes). Stir with fork. Fill cups and cool completely.
ICING:
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
2/3 c. sugar
6 oz. canned milk
Beat butter and shortening. Slowly add sugar, then add milk. Beat until creamy. When cups are cold, ice and sprinkle with finely chopped nuts.
CARAMEL CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
7 vanilla caramels
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
2 1/2 c. sifted confectioners' sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
Combine caramels and 1 tbsp. hot water in a 2 cup glass measuring cup. Place in small saucepan of gently boiling water. Heat and stir until caramels melt and sauce is smooth. Cool.
Beat together cream cheese and sugar. Add cooled caramel sauce and salt and mix well. Makes 1 1/4 cups frosting and will frost a 1 layer cake or 18 cupcakes.
